Maya Links

Someone asked, so here it is. It's probably not too hard to write a little perl script that finds links in other pages and sticks them here, but that'd involve learning perl. Ick.

Incedentally, I should mention http://del.icio.us. Its kinda like a wiki, but for bookmarks. You setup an account with delicous, and whenever you find a cool page you bookmark it to your account, adding tags to help you sort them later. The cool thing with delicious is it has thousands of users, and can quickly aggregate everyones tagged links to a single page. And even cooler, you can access these as virtual bookmarks from firefox via rss. Cool!

Some examples:

Its very much like wiki in terms of 'i don't get it' at first, but stick with it. After a day you'll wonder how you did without it. Its probably a better way to collate your maya bookmarks than here, but anyways...

Lighting and shading

Mel and expressions

SSS/Displacement/Final gathering walkthrough links

3rd party mr shaders/plugin links

[will do more later...]
