and suddenly we skip a few steps! so by this stage, i'd covered the front of him in plaster, let it set, turned him over carefully, covered the back with plaster. Realised that big stick was in the way, sawed it off really carefully, and then lifted off the back half.
And thats when the bad stuff happens.. removing the sculpture by digging it out.
